Quick Catch Up

I sent this to a friend in Arizona that I haven’t seen in a long while. It’s a bit like a cliff notes version of my life.

Life update? Still looking for a new job. Turned 26 on Tuesday, kind of feel like I’m supposed to be a real adult. I held a baby and liked it-which was super weird. I’ve banned myself from touching them, because the last thing I want right now is a baby. I would however, love a pug puppy (or 2-6 year old dog). I don’t want to get a dog right now though, because Nick works from home and I know that the dog will end up loving him more than me. Which is just unacceptable. We now live in Capitol Hill in an adorable apt with a nice little side garden.

So, that’s the quick and dirty version of the last few months – what’s yours?

    Nice – I like the quick and dirty. I also held a baby, but I felt awkward. Phew. ;)

    Turned 27, in a job I don’t like. Was thinking about enrolling back in school to become an ESOL and French Teacher until last night when my husband told me about an other job fitting my current qualification, so now need to apply and wait and see.
    Everytime I see a dog I find an other reason not to have one.
    Every time I see a child/baby/toddler I find an other reason to have one but hubby isn’t convinced, yet.
    Live in a lovely house, love my yard, hope to travel to France next year and hope to make a decision on my career and education within the next 3 months.
