Never had Shake Shack because I’m never patient enough to wait in that line, but I hear it’s fabulous! See you in a few!!

There’s certainly a bit of hype around Shake Shack and the lines are sometimes outrageous, but the burgers are darn good!

le sigh, there are way too many burger places in nyc to say which one’s the best. Shake Shack is good, but not great. Try Burger Joint, 5 Napkin burger, or if you feel like wasting money, the $81 burger at Old Homestead. I know there are more places, just can’t think of any off top of my head, yelp is your best friend

Le Parker Meridien is always on those lists. Brgr is decent or at least I love their shakes. Darn I used to have a list of top burger places in NYC and can’t find it. But do try those out. I think there’s a foie gras burger at one of Daniel Boulod’s restaurants that is good too.
Here’s a burger recipe list I’ve always been meaning to try:

OMG we were up in NYC this past weekend as well and the line for Shake Shack was CRAZY on Sunday! Please tell me since you are a CapHill dweller now that you’ve gone over to Good Stuff?! I highly reccommend the Obama Burger!

@Gwen We live like, an 8 minute walk from Good Stuff! When we were in NYC we were like – these burgers are CRAP compared to good stuff! We’ve eaten there 4 times… and we’ve only lived there since April 1st. I may have a problem! I liked the Obama, but I love the Smokehouse and the Farmhouse! I’m trying the onion/mushroom/melty one next. Or maybe my goal should just be – everything on the menu within a year. haha
@Chic n Cheap – this round we went to BRGR and Shake Shack, but Nick’s personal NYC favorite is the Parker Meridian. We’ll have to give it a whirl when we’re back in June!
