Shoespiration

Not surprisingly from my “name”, shoes are important to me.

Surprisingly, I’m having a hard time finding affordable purple d’orsays. I’m willing to go peep toe even, but feel compelled especially now to have d’orsays for sure.

I’ve searched zappos and endless with little luck. Since google now directs me to UK sites, I found these: (Not a D’Orsay)

available here

which are a lot like the Nine West ones that didn’t quite fit my feet, but seem like they match the bridesmaid dresses perfectly: (Sortof/not really a D’Orsay)

How about some fantasy shoes?

(D’Orsay)

WHY oh WHY must the have a metallic heel? AND an ankle strap? 2 of my “no no’s”

available here

I have no idea how I found them, but I saw these:

(D’Orsay!)

and began to drool. I can’t afford international shipping so I shipped them to my mother, but as they’re 4 inches high she is very wary to try them on. I won’t get to meet them till June and its just a risk I’ll have to take. Not to mention they’re $25, so I won’t feel too bad if I’m not wearing them in August. Though I have the sneaking suspicion they will need a ton of foot petal action.

BabyGirl Boutique has TONS of cute, sexy retro shoes and I must stop looking!

Here is my other dilemma, where I suppose the metal heel would come in handy- how do I keep my heels from sinking into the ground? We’re having an outdoor ceremony and I hate ruining shoes.
